The Sacred Lake and some Mortuary Temples at Medinet Habu .. The last part

Thirty yards or so north of the temple, the Sacred Lake lies in a corner of the enclosure . It was constructed of masonry, and was about 60 feet square, with two flights of steps, one at each of its southern angles .

Leaving the pavilion, and the other temples to right and left, we pass straight across the court to where the great pylon still rises to an impressive height, though its upper portion, with the overhanging cornice, has vanished .
